EuroBasket 2015 sees Europe’s biggest basketball competition take place for the first time ever in four (4) countries with Group Phase games played in Berlin, Germany; Montpellier, France; Riga, Latvia; and Zagreb, Croatia from 5-10 September. The Final Phase takes centre stage in Lille from 12-20 September. With an estimated 400,000 spectators going to the event, Airbnb is helping in welcoming basketball fans from around the world into affordable listings available throughout the host cities in Europe.

FIBA Secretary General and International Olympic Committee (IOC) Member Patrick Baumann said: "Working together with Airbnb will help us offer basketball fans affordable accommodations during the EuroBasket 2015 games and other events this year."

Airbnb Head of Global Payments and Head of Business Development Lex Bayer said: "We know FIBA is loved by the basketball community around the world, and we’re excited to have Airbnb hosts connect with basketball fans and players. Knowing the FIBA community has diverse travel needs, Airbnb’s array of accommodations will be able to provide them with a local experience as they cheer on their favourite teams at EuroBasket 2015."
