Steve Byrd Joins Sportradar US As Chief Commercial Officer

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (May 14, 2015) – Sportradar US, the fastest-growing sports data company in the U.S., announced today that Steve Byrd will join the company as Chief Commercial Officer. In his new role, Byrd will be responsible for leading relationships with large media and technology clients for Sportradar’s global sports data and content in North America.

Sportradar is the largest global sports data provider in the industry serving more than 800 clients globally. Sportradar US has recently been awarded the exclusive distribution rights for NFL play-by-play and tracking data for the next four seasons.

Byrd was most recently Co-Chief Operating Officer at STATS, LLC, and is a founding board member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. He earned his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at University of Chicago, and currently serves as an Executive in Residence for his alma mater.
