Radmann took office in Salzburg after the FIFA World Cup 2006 and has represented the Salzburg 2014 bid internationally at many outstanding public engagements.BR>BR>The position of CEO will be advertised again, and a decision on an appointment will be made in approximately one month from now. The two deputies and Executive Directors Rudolf Holler and Gernot Leitner will take over the management of the bid committee. OOC General Secretary, Heinz Jungwirth will be even more closely associated with the bid in the future. Franz Klammer will now become the "international face" of the Salzburg bid.BR>BR>Fedor Radmann declared: "My heart belongs to Salzburg and the bid. I spent many years of my life in Salzburg and went to school here. This Olympic bid runs in my blood. I have always been a fighter and this move is very difficult for me. However, I must accept that the body sets its own limits, which cannot be ignored. With a heavy heart, I have made this decision for health reasons. My body left me no other choice. I am convinced that, despite this personnel change, Salzburg 2014 will continue to work determinedly and with full commitment towards the IOC evaluation commission visit in March and the decision in Guatemala City on the 4th of July. I cross my fingers for the team."BR>BR>Heinz Schaden (Mayor of the city of Salzburg and Supervisory Board Chairman for Salzburg 2014) said: "Fedor Radmann helped the credibility of our bid both on a national and international level and to a very high degree, for which I would personally like to sincerely thank him. I very much regret that Fedor Radmann's state of health no longer enables him to perform the role of CEO. I wish him all the best and hope that he gets better soon."BR>BR>Leo Wallner (OOC President) added: "We very much regret Fedor Radmann's resignation. He has been an outstanding representative for the bid and set his own standards of excellence. The OOC will now involve itself yet further in the bid, in the shape of General Secretary Heinz Jungwirth, and we will seek to convince the IOC members of the merits of our candidacy."/P>P>"We welcome Franz Klammer as our first Sports Ambassador, who will even more intensively represent Austria's bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2014. With Klammer, we can emphasize our sporting qualities yet further, a side which is also represented in an outstanding Bid Book II. I would like, once again, to cordially thank the 2014 team."
