(ATR) China and the United States continue to dominate the top of the medal table. China is still in first with 73 medals, 34 which are gold. The United States remains in second with 30 gold and 70 overall medals.
Great Britain has surpassed their Beijing gold medal count earning 4 gold medals today. Team GB has 22 gold medals, and 40 total medals. They won 19 gold medals in Beijing.
In total, 72 nations have earned a medal, while 40 have earned at least one gold.
