(ATR) - The National Olympic Committee of Iraq has a new logo, unveiled at a ceremony at Al Shaab Stadium in Baghdad. On hand for the announcement were Ambassador L. Paul Bremer, administrator for the Coalition Provisional Authority and NOC president Ahmed Al-Samarrai.
"Our new logo represents the energized spirit of the revitalized Olympic Movement in our country", said Al-Samarrai.
Bremer pledged continuing support for the development of Iraqi sport, including $3 million to refurbish Al Shaab Stadium.
