The Man From Toronto is an upcoming comedy and action film starring stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. Recently, it was announced that the Netflix platform acquired the distribution rights for the title to be released globally sometime this year. Patrick Hughes (Hard to Care and The Indestructibles 3) directs this proposal that mixes action and hilarious dialogue. The plot begins with a case of mistaken identity that unexpectedly crosses the paths of the world's deadliest killer, known as the Toronto Man, and a failure from New York City on an Airbnb, according to the premise spread by The Hollywood Reporter.
Hart and Harrelson will give life to these two deadly killers who will be confronted by the striking differences in their personalities. The original story belongs to Fox and Jason Blumenthal, and was written for the big screen by Robbie Fox. In addition to the protagonists, the cast is composed of Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode, Jencarlos Canela and Ellen Barkin. It's a project by Columbia Pictures
In the beginning, the role of Woody Harrelson was going to be Jason Statham, but the latter ended up leaving the project and the protagonist of True Detective joined the cast to replace him. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are listed as producers, while Bill Bannerman, Aaron L. Gilbert and Jason Cloth were considered in executive production.

The Toronto man summoned both actors with experience in the comedy genre to bring to life the hilarious story of these two killers under the direction of Patrick Hughes. At the moment, the film does not have a release date in the Netflix catalog, but it is clear that the audience will be able to watch it before the end of 2022.
