Cardona, Valoyes, Villa, Fabra, Arboleda... the Colombians protagonists in Argentine football

Newell's Old Boys won by the slightest difference against Banfield with a goal from 11 steps by Juan Manuel García to 69′. Juan Fernando Quintero was unable to travel with the 'Millionario' due to injury. “I don't really get angry, this is part of football. The most important thing is to recover and that's it,” he said.

In the match between Boca Juniors and Godoy Cruz that took place at La Bombonera, coach Sebastián Battaglia bet on two of the three Colombians in his starting eleven. Frank Fabra and Sebastián Villa started, while Jorman Campuzano was on the substitute bench. The match ended 1-1, Dario Benedetto scored for Xeneize at 34′, while Salomon Rodriguez tied ten minutes later.
