On Tuesday night, April 19, Magaly Medina surprised Peruvians with what would be the “ampay of the year”. In the images released by its program of shows, Aldo Miyashiro and Oscar del Portal meeting with Fiorella Retiz and Fiorella Méndez in the department of the sports journalist, uninhabited by his wife and children, who are from vacation in Punta Cana.
Érika Villalobos's husband passionately kissed Fiorella Retiz after being left alone in a room, which was being watched by the 'urracos' of Medina. After this show of affection, both left the place as if nothing had happened. For his part, the América Deportes driver woke up with Mendez, who just decided to retire at 8:00 a.m.
Since the sound ampay aired on Magaly TV La Firme, viewers were looking forward to the public release of Aldo Miyashiro, but the host did not appear in the Tuesday, April 19 edition of La Banda del Chino. However, the next day, on Wednesday, April 20, the TV presenter decided to show his face. These were his most important statements.
“I WANT TO TAKE ON MY ACTIONS”
Aldo Miyashiro began his speech by admitting that he was unfaithful to Erika Villalobos with Fiorella Retiz. According to him, some recommended that he clean up his image by saying that they were already separated when he was ampayed; however, he preferred to accept publicly that he did not respect his marriage of 17 years.
“I was wrong and I made a mistake that, surely, will accompany me all my life and that will cost me a lot to be able to repair with the people I love. I have decided to assume as a man that I am my responsibility without escaping this difficult moment,” he said.
“I APOLOGIZE TO ERIKA VILLALOBOS, I BETRAYED HER TRUST”
With a grieved face, the TV presenter publicly apologized to his wife for putting her in such a humiliating situation. He also stated that he was willing to regain his lost trust despite the possible divorce process that is underway.
“I want to start by publicly asking Erika for forgiveness because I betrayed her trust and didn't live up to or deserve everything she did for me. I want to tell you that, surely we will not be able to return, but I am willing to do everything possible to heal that wound and to have a relationship between two people who at some point loved each other very much,” he said.
“I NEVER IMAGINED IT COULD CAUSE SO MUCH PAIN”
Miyashiro said that Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 April were the most difficult days of her life. The hatred he receives on networks, the disappointment of his fans and the deep pain of his family for the ampay keep him extremely ashamed of what happened.
“These are the worst days of my life... these two days that I have lived and not so much because of the load, but because I never imagined that I could cause so much pain and I have caused it to someone who doesn't deserve it, to people who only give me love and support. I was wrong,” said Aldo.
“I REGRET THE SITUATION OF FIORELLA RETIZ”
To the surprise of many, Aldo Miyashiro was affected by the wave of insults that Fiorella Retiz has been receiving on her social networks, so asked that they be stopped because he bears full responsibility for the infidelity he committed.
“I am very sorry for the situation that Fiorella Retiz is experiencing because I am responsible and the culprit. I am a 46-year-old man, I am the married man, who should not have passed that little path... that started as a game and went too far and ended in what they saw, in those images of kisses and caresses,” he said.
“I DIDN'T RESPECT THE HOME OF OSCAR DEL PORTAL”
The remembered actor of La Gran Sangre explained that he kissed Fiorella Retiz when Oscar del Portal and Fiorella Mendez were already asleep. As he implied, they would not have been resting in the same bed, so there would be no infidelity in that case.
“In those images there has been a lot of speculation about Fiorella and Oscar, it's a situation that I too have to apologize because... at a time when Fiorella was asleep and Oscar was in her room, all this happened, I didn't respect Oscar del Portal's house either,” he said.
“I AM READY TO ABIDE BY ANY SANCTION”
Aldo Miyashiro stepped aside in the leadership of La Banda del Chino and assured that he was willing to accept the respective sanction that, possibly, América Televisión will give him. He ended by saying that he hoped to return to television someday, as long as he got the forgiveness of the person he offended.
“If my employers have to sanction me, I am ready to comply with any sanction that they want to give me, whatever it is (...) I'm going to take a few days and I hope to rebuild myself and get back what I had before with my family. I hope to get forgiveness from the person I offended and I don't know what will be later in my life. I don't know when I'll be back, I hope to. Take care of yourselves,” he said.
