JC Chávez threatened Daniel Zaragoza for his return to the ring: “I'm going to make it uglier”

Although he vowed not to put his gloves back on after his fight against Hector Camacho Junior, Julio Cesar Chavez confirmed that he will lead another fight on the tribute card to Ignacio Beristain. His rival will be one of the most iconic pupils in Nacho's history, as he is his first world champion, that is Daniel Zaragoza. Despite the relevance, the Mexican Grand Champion did not miss the official presentation to threaten the lefty of Tacubaya.

“I'm going to make it a little uglier than it is. I'm going with one older than me and uglier than me. With Zaragoza I had to dance with the ugliest one. I take Pichón”, declared the Mexican Grand Champion during a press conference with members of the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Meanwhile, although with a less aggressive tone, Zaragoza did not miss the opportunity to respond to the native of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora. In his speech, he recalled that “it is a pleasure, an honor to be with Nacho. I was their first world champion.” In addition, with sarcasm, he paid tribute to Chávez González, because he acknowledged that “it is a pleasure to face the one who they say was the best fighter in history, that's why I've heard.”

The announcement of the fight between the two characters caused excitement and expectation among Mexican boxing fans. It is worth mentioning that before the fight against the son of Macho Camacho, in June 2019, Julio Cesar Chavez confirmed that he had a medical ban on getting into the ring, although he also He threatened to fight a round without the protective mask.
