The congresswoman of Fuerza Popular, Tania Ramírez surprised everyone by uploading a video to TikTok dancing to Danny Ocean's song in the congress halls of the Republic. The images quickly became trending on other social networks receiving harsh criticism, but she did not hesitate to respond and justify her dance.
“Just give me time, give me a moment, you know that I am a warrior. Move your body, eternal happiness, feel the electricity coming up your leg. Shout to the world that you are a warrior “, is part of the lyrics of the song as the parliamentarian moves in her style.
On Twitter, a young woman uploaded the video of the parliamentarian and one of the comments says: “Aren't you ashamed?” to which she replied: “Excuse me, what would be the problem? Is it forbidden to do that, pass me the list of which places are allowed and which places are not”, read in the comments.
Apart from this publication, Ramírez spoke on his personal Twitter account noting that “being a congressman does not limit her” to make those videos, since “since her youth, she views politics with optimism and joy.”
The Congress room where the parliamentarian records the Tik Tok video is used as a break room, team meetings or guest waiting room, but the displeasure of the people was due to the political and social situation that Peru has been going through for more than 11 days.
“The Mariategui room is a rest room, it's true, but the moment that the country is going through is not for these things. It's part of the degradation of politics. It helps to think like the national majority: Let everyone leave!!!” , one of the comments is displayed.
In another comment they compare the situation of former President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski when he exercised in the mornings at the Government Palace.
“PPK exercised in the middle of the morning with all its ministers and they applauded, a congresswoman dances for 2 minutes and is it a scandal? Already,” said another user supporting Tania Ramírez's viral.
Another supporter of the parliamentarian referred to the singing that Dina Boluarte performed at the decentralized session of the Council of Ministers in Junín.
“That solo dance doesn't compare to Vice President Dina Boluarte who started singing in the middle of the Council of Ministers, but she should leave her TikToks home,” said another user.
OTHER COMMENTS
Other criticisms that also fell on the member of the Fuerza Popular bench was that of not reading the bills they approve, in relation to the tax exemption law in which it was intended to approve the release of pheasant, guinea fowl, ravioli, among other foods that have nothing to do with the products that make up the basic family basket.
“Well, now we know why they don't read the projects they approve, I imagine that those who voted for it must feel represented or cheated”
“A little more and it does the Anita Challenge,” commented one user. “It would be interesting to see congressmen do that challenge. Who would win? ”, another replied.
“This is the kind of officials that KF wants to bring, to win an election, people who are not serious in their functional and personal conduct”
“If he wants to dance, let him go home. We don't pay you for that!!”
In turn, some positive comments also came to light in defense of the Fuerza Popular parliamentarian.
“I mean, can you no longer dance in your workplace? Employers need to start kicking workers out for a dance in the workplace. Zero active breaks”
“It must have been, surely in a moment of relaxation, at lunchtime. Congressmen have rest times in their daily work, like any workplace”
“To brighten up the day in the midst of so much misrule, it helps a lot, miss. We encourage you to make your TikTok”
Later, Tania Ramírez used her Twitter account to respond and tweeted against the press, accusing her of being “fixing” the corruption of former presidents.
“Press related to Pedro Castillo is shocked by harmless video. It is the press that managed to corrupt Martín Vizcarra and Francisco Sagasti and now PROSOR. Pharisees! , with my video I haven't hurt anyone, I don't know if you or your bosses, in 22 years of caviarism, can say the same thing,” he said.
“I say to young people. Let us learn to be contestants, let us not let a sector of the press, which responds to private interests, tell us what we should or can do. I reveal myself and protested, that press that for years dictates the agenda to politicians will not dictate it to me,” he stressed.
