The Mobility Secretariat (Semovi) invited citizens who are residents of Mexico City (CDMX) and who seek to obtain a motorcycle driver's license, to take the free driving course, with the aim of reducing road accidents.

The training sessions will also help motorcyclists have the knowledge and expertise necessary to use a motorcycle. People interested in issuing their Type A or Type B license will have to obtain good results in the evaluation before receiving the document that accredits them to travel with the vehicle in the capital and in the State of Mexico (Edomex).

In order to register for the course and acquire the necessary skills in motorcycle handling, those interested will have to pass the theoretical motorcycle riding course and take a diagnostic test. Afterwards, they will have to go to one of the certifying and evaluating centers.

Once the appointment has been made, an appointment can be scheduled for one of the evaluation centers through the following link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dwios.palacademy.

To take the face-to-face test, motorcyclists will have to present the certification endorsed by CONOCER in the Standard of Competence in Driving the motorcycle vehicle for road use, basic level and pay 460 pesos.

The face-to-face evaluation consists of a physical-mechanical review of the motorcycle, supervision of helmet placement, test of theoretical knowledge and a test of skill and control in a closed circuit, which consists of the following exercises:
