Welfare Pension: how to register for the rest of the year

A good news was opened for people who are 65 years old, as the Ministry of Welfare presented a series of dates for them to register for the pension, financial support offered by the Mexican government to older adults, with the aim of enabling them to live better.

In this sense, in this digital space we will reveal the days that will be considered to be part of this program. The process can be carried out in a few months of the year, according to the agency's social networks.

According to the Secretariat, the incorporation will take place from January to December, with specific registration dates, as well as a specific period of time to collect the cards where the financial amount of the aid will be paid bimonthly.

What are the days of registration?

According to the scheme they will handle for registrations, the first process will be considered for those who were born between January and April, since their registration will be from April 15 to 30 and their card will be available from June 15 to 30.

It should be remembered that millions of older adults received payment of their pension with an extra charge, due to the elections that will take place in the country.

In this way, seniors collected 7,700 pesos this time during March, that is, the resources corresponding to: March-April and May-June.

However, from July-August, the pension will be re-regularized and they will receive the amount of 3 thousand 850 pesos.

How to register?

Registration is usually done in person at the registration module closest to your home. Therefore, older adults must report to the area around their home.

It is important to note that according to the Welfare Secretariat, this platform will be enabled in the aforementioned period.

Once you have located the module, you must attend with the necessary documentation to be registered in the program.

What are the documents that must be submitted?

-Unique Population Register Key (CURP).

-Valid official identification.

-Proof of address.

-Birth certificate.

-Contact phone number to keep track of the procedure.

In the case of persons who registered before, they must attend for their plastic in the established time and after the elections.

If you have your Bienestar card, one of the easiest ways to check your plastic balance is through a phone call and follow these steps:

-Enter the following number (800 900 2000) and press the 1 key.

-You will then need to insert the 16 digits of your card.

-Enter your date of birth.

If they do not deposit the resources or do not receive the full amount by the deadline, those affected must access the Welfare Line and put the problem in order. To do this, you must dial the following number: 800 636 42 64.
