According to reports obtained by Infobae México, although Dilan was mainly responsible for the collection of extortion in the Historic Center of CDMX, it lived in the State of Mexico and from there sent instructions to the members of its criminal cell.

Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, reported that the arrest of this alleged criminal was achieved on March 22 at the Gustavo A. Madero mayor's office.

According to the testimony obtained by the capital authorities, El Dilan threatened a pedestrian passing through the DM Nacional colony with a long gun, after which it informed the authorities, who launched an operation to capture him.

After carrying out a search operation, the Dilan was located while driving in a blue car on the San Juan de Aragon Causeway. The arrest was carried out by police officers from the Ministry of Citizen Security (SSC) in coordination with elements of the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar).

At the time of his arrest, Dilan was in the company of a woman, who was also brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office to determine responsibilities.

For some years now, the criminal activities of the Tepito Union have seriously affected economic activity in the Historic Center, where tenants and street vendors have denounced the extortion, kidnappings and executions by this criminal group. Other cells are known to be dedicated to the illegal dispossession of buildings for use as warehouses or security departments.

The struggles between various cells to gain control of the organization have unleashed a wave of violence and executions that has spread across several mayors.
