Jorge Molina renews one more season with Granada

Granada, 23 Mar The striker Jorge Molina, who will be forty next April, has renewed his contract with Granada for another season, so he will continue as a rojiblanco, at the very least, until June 2023, the Granada club reported. Jorge Molina arrived at Granada Libre, from Getafe, two summers ago and committed himself for two seasons, in which he has offered a remarkable level and has not missed any call for an official match. The Alcoyano striker played 51 matches with Granada last season between LaLiga Santander, the Copa del Rey and the Europa League in which he scored a total of fifteen goals and gave five assists; and in this season he played 28 with nine goals scored and four goal passes. These good numbers and his good work in the locker room, this campaign being one of the team's captains, have led to Granada and the player reaching an agreement to extend their contract for another year. Granada made the renovation official with a curious video in which Jorge Molina reads a story in which he tells his sporting journey to a group of children and in which he ends up saying “and colorín colorín colorado, this story continues”. The renewal of the veteran striker is the first that Granada carries out of players from the current squad who finish contract at the end of this season and whose continuity he is working on.
