Peru vs. Uruguay: Manuel Ugarte was called urgently in 'La Celeste' prior to the match for Qatar 2022 Qualifiers

The teams of Peru and Uruguay will be measured this Thursday, March 24 as part of the 17th date of the South American Qualifiers. The match is agreed for 6:30pm (Peruvian time) and will define the options for both teams in terms of qualifying for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The news was confirmed by the same Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) through its account 'Uruguayan Selection' on Twitter. “Summoned. Manuel Ugarte joins the squad of the Major Selection tomorrow”, reads in the social media publication of that entity.

As the brief statement says, the footballer will join the training sessions with the rest of the squad of the 'charrúa' cast at the Complejo Celeste this place, where all the players are concentrated, from the minor teams to the adult teams, including the technical command.
