An incident that occurred on the streets of Lurigancho-Chosica over the weekend was recorded on video, was shared on social networks and quickly went viral. An angry man came out of a mini-market and began shouting unhappily at a municipal janitor. He demanded that he take a garbage bag that did not fit in his cart.
The viral generated a series of criticisms from social media users and some politicians who showed their indignation. This Monday, from the scene, it became known that the man out of control responds to the name of Javier Casaico. For the PTR cameras he gave his disclaimers. He said that the public cleaning worker had made a garbage collection point in that place, and he asked her to pick up the truck.
“All day I am with flies and garbage rots, because the collection truck doesn't pass every day. That's since they broke the track. I told him why don't you take it any further, because it's a big mound of garbage. He told me it's a collection point,” he said.
He acknowledged that he was extremely exalted, and told him to take the garbage to another place, because there are other points where they can collect the garbage. “It wasn't the right way. I never insulted her, yelled at her, but it wasn't the way and I apologize for the case. It wasn't the right way to reclaim him.”
Asked if he has trouble controlling anger, Casaico said, “I must have.” And he confessed that a couple of years ago he was in treatment for a personal problem. The reporter also rebuked him that neighbors complain about their constant scandals. “I would like to be told because I don't remember, I always try to keep equanimity.”
He even said that last Friday a client and a public inspection official beat each other and he intervened to separate them. But he insisted with his apologies: “Madam, if you are seeing me, it was not the way to make my claim, the apologies of the case, if I have offended you.”
