For weeks now, concert and music lovers have not stopped talking about the 2022 Jamming Festival, which was deflating as quickly as the anxiety of those who bought their tickets when they saw their favorite musicians get off the bus.

However, fans of Argentine singer Vicentico, leader of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, who had to cancel his participation in the 2022 Jamming Festival due to conflicts in his schedule, can rest assured that he will be performing in Bogotá.

The concert was announced by the company Buena Vibra Eventos, the same organizers of the Jamming and is scheduled for May 21, 2022 at the Royal Center concert hall, located in the town of Chapinero and tickets can now be found here and are available for a single location for a value of 140,000 pesos.

Vicentico was going to perform at the Jamming Festival, which will take place on March 19, 20 and 21 at Playa Hawaii in Ibague, Tolima, after having overcome the consequences of the pandemic due to covid-19, which changed all the plans of the organizers who made maromas to support and expand the lineup of artists that had been announced for the edition of the festival that was going to take place in 2020.

However, in the last few days several artists have been canceling their performances and putting those who had bought their tickets more than two years ago on embers.

This is how Los Cafres, Maldita Vecindad, Jah Cure and Irie Kingz were saying goodbye to the festival, and on March 11 the American band Black Eyed Peas pointed out that due to circumstances beyond their control they will not be able to arrive to perform in Colombia. The artists sent a message of affection to their fans, noting that the next time they perform in the country will be “epic”.

On the other hand, also on Friday, March 11, through its official social media profiles Jamming confirmed the attendance of the British pop, reggae and dub group, Ub40. However, through their Twitter, the group responded to the questioning of one of their fans about this presentation and pointed out that they will not be at the music festival in Ibague, in fact they published the link to their official website where all the dates of their next performances are.

After the controversy over the cancellation of Black Eyed Peas and the lack of clarity about Ub40, other artists have published on their networks confirming their attendance at Ibague. Among those who went out to calm the waters pointing out that they are going to be in the Jamming have been The Authentic Decadents, Mala Rodríguez and Don Omar, who are celebrating their return to the stage with this presentation.

According to the announcements, some of the artists still confirmed for the first day of the festival are: Don Omar, Caifanes, Ñejo, Silvestre Dangond, Los Toreros Muertos, Guayacán Orquesta, Orishas, and Richie Ray and Bobbie Cruz, Wilfrido Vargas and Mauro Castillo.

While for the second day, Sunday, March 20, Ska-P, Damian Marley, Los Tigres del Norte, Prophetic Culture, Green Dwarfs, Mala Rodriguez, Grupo Niche, Zion & Lennox, The Invisible Friends, Systema Solar, La 33, ChocQuibTown, Sergio Vargas, Feid and Monsieur Perine.

And finally, on Monday, March 21, Miguel Mateos, Sean Paul, Farruko, Molotov, Rococo Pantheon, White Rata, Timbiqui Heritage, 21st Floor, Vicente García, Vilma Palma e Vampiros, Eddy Herrera and the Grand Combo of Puerto Rico remain confirmed.
