Step by Step: How to Register to Use CDMX Bike Parking

The Secretariat of Mobility in Mexico City (CDMX) has made public the use of bicycle parking lots, located in different parts of the capital city.In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the field of mobility and public transport services, the capital Under the measures implemented by the government, bicycle trips have become an alternative to moving around the city and avoiding crowds.

In this way, in addition to the Ecobici service, which belongs to the Unified Mobility Plan, 10 bicycle parking lots have been installed in the capital to allow citizens to keep their bikes safe and continue moving to other parts of the city.

According to Semovi, there are currently three huge bicycle parking lots, located in El Rosario, Pantitlan and La Raja, and the remaining seven are semi-large-scale. In this way, users can protect their bikes in their next home.

All are open for free from 05:00 to 01:00 the following day from Monday to Saturday, and from 07:00 to 24:00 on Sundays and public holidays.

To register online, you must have an official ID, integrated mobility card, and bicycle photo.If you have these documents, you will need to perform the following steps:

1. Enter this link with your Unique Population Registration Key (CURP)

2.Fill out the form by requesting email, mobile phone and 10-digit landline, postal code, mayor's office, and street information. You must select a bicycle/parking lot to leave the bike on the same microsite.

3. If necessary, you will receive an email confirming or requesting corrections to the document.

4. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, the applicant must appear at the bicycle parking lot chosen for photographing (user and bicycle), signing the contract and regulations. This card will be registered for entry into the bicycle parking lot as an integrated mobility card.

Users can enter any CDMX bicycle parking lot by simply registering in one of all CDMX bicycle parking lots thanks to an interconnection system between 10 facilities.
