(ATR) The freestyle skiing dual moguls events at the 2017 Asian Winter Games were dominated by the host Japan.

The freestyle skiing competition was held at the Sapporo Bankei Ski Area.

For the ladies' event, Japan had two athletes on the podium with Arisa Murata winning silver and Miki Ito taking bronze. The gold medalist was Yuliya Galysheva of Kazakhstan.

For the men's event, Japan once again had two athletes on the podium withIkuma Horishama taking gold and Daichi Hara with silver. Dmitriy Reikherd of Kazakhstan won bronze.

The next freestyle skiing event - the single moguls competition - will be held on Feb. 26 on the final day of the games.
