Atos to Lead IT at Singapore 2015

Atos was appointed the chief systems integrator for the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

Atos will build the information technology infrastructure for the games, as well as handle operations, communications, and support for the biennial event.

"For the 28th SEA Games, our team of business technologists will apply the same blend of specialist skills and experience backed by a complete understanding of just what the organizers, competitors, and audience expect," Herbert Leung, CEO of Atos, said in a statement.

The Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organising Committee appointed Atos to the position after their success at the Sochi Olympics. Atos also worked in Singapore for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. In 2015, Atos will also provide information technology systems for the Pan Am/Parapan games in Toronto.

"We also look forward to working closely with SINGSOC again to deliver a seamless regional sporting event against the backdrop of Singapore’s brand new Sports Hub in Kallang whilst showcasing our expertise."

Coca-Cola Hires Executive

Coca-Cola announced they have promoted Kathy N. Waller to executive vice president and chief financial officer effective immediately.

Waller had been at Coca-Cola since 1987 and previously worked as the vice president of finance and as controller.

Waller replaces Gary Fayard who retired in February.

Larry M. Mark, Mark Randazza, Dr. Wamwari Waichungo, Ronald J. Lewis and Jos Wellekens were also hired as vice presidents.
