(ATR)McDonald’s has announced it will be replacing Mike Andres, the president of its U.S. business, at the end of this year after more than 30 years of service.

"With the strides we have made in the U.S. business this is the right time for me to retire," Andres said in a statement.

Andres implemented some of the corporation’s biggest changes in the U.S. including the introduction of all day breakfast and the replacement of margarine on Egg McMuffins.

Effective Jan.1. 2017 Andres will be replaced by current executive vice president of strategy, business development, and innovation of McDonald’s Chris Kempczinski.

Before joining McDonald's last year, Kempczinski served as executive vice president of growth initiatives and president of international at Kraft Foods Group.

"I look forward to building upon the significant progress in the U.S., and continuing the innovation and collaboration among our owner-operators, suppliers and employees to take McDonald's to the next level," Kempczinski said in a statement.

McDonald’s has been an official sponsor of the Olympic Games since 1976 and is committed to support the Olympic movement through 2020.

Samsung Recalls Galaxy Note 7

Along with McDonald's and 10 others, Samsung is another TOP Olympic Sponsor for the Rio Games.

The company recently recalled its brand-new smartphone the Galaxy Note 7 after dozens of reports of the devices exploding or catching fire while charging.

There have been no issues with the Galaxy s7 Edge, the smartphone Samsung designed to coincide with the Olympics.

All Olympic athletes, IOC Members and sports leaders were distributed a special edition of the Galaxy s7 along with the newly designed Icon Gear X and fully integrated wireless Bluetooth headset designed to track athletic activity during the Rio 2016 Games.

Ryan Lochte Adds Another Sponsor to List

Twelve-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte has gained another sponsor following his Rio summer Games scandal.

Lochte is now the new face of the world’s smallest SOS Alarm - Robocopp.

"I don’t go anywhere without Robocopp. It’s this tiny device," the swimmer states in an instructional video he posted on Twitter. "All you do is pull the pin and it can get you out of a bad situation."

"Excited to partner with @Robocopp" Lochte wrote in a caption accompanying the video.

The new endorsement comes days after Lochte signed a deal with Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops known for a campaign slogan of being "Forgiving on Your Throat".

"Just as Pine Bros. is forgiving to your throat, the company asks [the] public for a little forgiveness for an American swimming legend" the company said in a statement.

Lochte lost all four commercial sponsors including Speedo and Ralph Lauren after his story about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio was found false.

Andre Agassi Partners with Lavazza for U.S. Open

The official coffee of the US Open – Lavazza – announced its collaboration with retired tennis champion Andre Agassi.

"In my autobiography I write about my life-long love for coffee, so it is a natural fit for me to be partnering with Lavazza, a company that has been at the forefront of the industry from day one," Agassi said in a statement.

One hundred and fifty clones of the world champ filled Manhattan to interact with tennis fans and promote Lavazza’s "I’m Back" campaign for the US Open.

A dollar will be donated to the USTA to support the Andre Agassi Foundation to benefit education efforts for undeserved youth for every cup of Lavazza coffee purchased at the U.S. Open through the "I'm Back" campaign.

The U.S. Open Tennis championships began on Aug.29 and will conclude on Sep.11.
