(ATR) The United States took over the total medal lead at the end of Day 13. Team USA won 11 medals, bringing their London 2012 total to 81. China maintained the lead on gold medals with 36, while the US has 34.

Russia gained 4 medals on day 13 to take the third overall in total medals from Great Britain with 52. Russia earned 73 medals in Beijing.

Overall, 75 nations have won a medal, and 41 nations have won at least one gold medal.
