With two months to go until the 2017 Team USA Media Summit in Park City, Utah, the United States Olympic Committee is taking media registrations at TeamUSA.org/MediaSummit. More than 100 Team USA athletes are already registered for the event, which will take place Sept. 24-27 at the Grand Summit Hotel located in the Canyons Village in Park City.
Currently, confirmed athletes include:
Jamie Anderson, slopestyle snowboarding, Olympic champion
Nathan Chen, figure skating, U.S. champion
Kelly Clark, halfpipe snowboarding, Olympic champion
Meghan Duggan, ice hockey, two-time Olympic medalist
Gracie Gold, figure skating, Olympic medalist
Lindsey Jacobellis, snowboardcross, Olympic medalist
Gus Kenworthy, freestyle skiing, Olympic medalist
Chloe Kim, snowboarding, two-time Youth Olympic champion
Ted Ligety, alpine skiing, two-time Olympic champion
Elana Meyers Taylor, bobsled, two-time Olympic medalist
Amy Purdy, snowboarding, Paralympic medalist
Mikaela Shiffrin, alpine skiing, Olympic champion
Ashley Wagner, figure skating, Olympic medalist
In addition, head coaches for the U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team (TBA) and U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team (Robb Stauber) will be in attendance. The Team USA Media Summit provides media with unprecedented interview opportunities and access to America's top Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls from all sports, all in one place, leading up to each edition of the Games. The USOC has hosted the event since 1988.
