The cycling calendar progresses with important races these days, and the first two Ardennes classics have already passed: Amstel Gold Race which won the Polish Michal Kwiatkowski of the Ineos Grenadiers and the Walloon Arrow that ended up in the hands of the Belgian Dylan Teuns of Bahrain Victorious.
This time the runners are getting ready to face the last classic of the triptych of the Ardennes: the 108th edition of the Liege Bastogne Liege. The competition will be 257 km long and it is expected that several of the best classic riders will be performing there in search of the title.
Among them are the Colombian cyclists, who every day have shown themselves in better conditions to take on the one-day races in a great way. The classic will be on April 24 and there would be the presence of some coffee runners.

The main one and who is thought to be standing out again will be Daniel Felipe Martínez with his team, which has already shown that he can be with the strongest cyclists to look for a good place at the end of the day as he did in the last Flecha Valona where he finished 5th.
Then, on the list, Antioquia's Rigoberto Urán would be counted on with the EF Education EasyPost, a runner who usually goes during the season from less to more and regulates his physical conditions in a good way to be among the strongest.
On the other hand, Sergio Higuita of Bora Hansgrohe, is expected to be taking the game at the Liege Bastogne Liege in the face of the two absences he presented during the Asmtel Gold Race and the Walloon Arrow where he was expected to be. It is not yet commented on his participation in the competition, but he appears among the riders who would have the possibility of running it by Bora.
Jesús David Peña of the BikeExchange also appears on the list of Colombian riders who could be in the Belgian competition, because after having some races in which he could not finish, the Walloon Arrow left a good feeling when he managed to finish it.
Winner Anacona will be accompanying his team Arkea Samsic as gregarious again of Warren Barguil who in the Walloon Arrow got into the top 10 after a great team effort that left him with good legs to be among the first and strongest of the day.

Although Anacona had a hard fall in the previous competition, it does not seem to have any major consequences, while there was no official report from the team and also because the boyacense finally finished the race.
Finally, Santiago Buitrago of Bahrain Victorious would be completing the competitive cycle of the first part of the season in Liège before apparently taking the game in the next Giro d'Italia.
For Liege Bastogne Liege, it is expected that there will be a fight side by side between the strongest riders in the pack, such as Tadej Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates, Wout van Aert from Jumbo Visma, world champion Julian Alaphilippe of Quick Step Alpha Vinyl and his teammate Remco Evenepoel, as well as the other Slovenian from Bahrain Victorious Matej Mohoric, Valverde del Movistar and Aleksandr Vlasov del Bora who took 2nd and 3rd place in the previous race.
