A few hours after the course of the Electricity Reform is set in the Chamber of Deputies, Damián Alcázar, a fervent defender of the self-described Fourth Transformation (Q4), spoke out against the legislators who will go against the initiative.
On April 17, the San Lazaro seats will resume voting to continue or stop, as decided, the project promoted by the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).
Faced with the firm refusal of the opposition bloc Va por México - especially the National Action Party (PAN) and the Institutional Revolutionary (PRI) - the Mexican actor shook the deputies who will not support the Reformation in the session of this April 17.
Through his Twitter account, Alcázar called out the critics of advocating for the 2013 Reform and, with it, the moches and acts of corruption that currently hold Emilio Lozoya's freedom on the tightrope and Ricardo Anaya, former presidential candidate, in the sights of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic (FGR).
It should be recalled that, in an effort to prevent Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) and its allies from obstructing the vote, members of the PAN and the PRI spent the night in the Legislative Palace of Saint Lazarus.
This, following the statement of Armando Monter, leader of the National Labor Front, in which he assured that, if needed, they would block opposition legislators to enter the Chamber of Deputies in order to pass the Electricity Reform.
And the fact is that the promoting parties gather only 277 votes out of the 334 they need to approve the presidential initiative - which requires two thirds of the seats to approve the bill.
Hence the relevance of the bloc's efforts in favor of obtaining the remaining approximately 60 votes from the opposition. So much so that it showed openness to coincide and integrate some of the 12 thematic axes of the counter-reform presented, which marked a difference between what was proposed by the federal executive and what they see as a real breakthrough in the sector.
However, the incorporation of these points will not guarantee the support of the opposition bloc on whose social networks, to this day, continue to speak out against the reform of López Obrador.
Against this, Damián Alcázar also spoke out in assuring that citizens “will have no mercy” on such political organizations in the event that endorse and reflect their position during the suffrage in Saint Lazarus, in reference to the state elections on 5 June.
Hours later, the protagonist of the film El Infierno reiterated that the population would also turn their backs on him “in the State of Mexico in 2023 let alone, there anyway”.
