Carlos Bustos spoke after Alianza Lima's 4-1 win against Universitario de Deportes in the first classic of the season. The Argentine coach said that it was a historic match, because the 'blue and white' team had never been able to win with this goal advantage at the Monumental stadium.

“It was a great match, my congratulations to the whole team. The players who played and those who were outside who work day by day to get Alianza up. We didn't get the start we wanted in the tournament and we also had a hard time in the Cup, but the group is fine. We will surely fight everything”, were his first words at a press conference.

“I think this win gives us the possibility of knowing what this team can do, we can play in different ways. This match was historic, I think it is the first time that Alianza has scored four goals in this stadium and all the recognition of the players”, added the Argentinian.

Alianza Lima hasn't scored four goals for Universitario since 2003. That time both squads met at the National Stadium and the goals of the 'intimates' came from Aldo Olcese, José Soto, Henry Quinteros and Nicolás Tagliani.

On the other hand, Carlos Bustos has faced the 'U' twice in a classic and never lost. Last season he won 2-1 at the colossus José Diaz with goals from Ricardo Lagos and Axel Moyano at the last minute.

Bustos said it was a historic triumph because Alianza never scored four goals for the 'U' at Monumental.
