After his journey through the world of boxing, in which he came to face the historic American boxer Floyd Mayweather, it seems that the youtuber and influencer Logan Paul could end his career as a fighter as a result of an unusual accident he suffered while drunk in a bar in Germany.

This was revealed by himself in a recent episode of his podcast ImPaulsive, where he claimed that he fractured his right hand trying to set the best score on a boxing machine. “I make the worst decisions when I'm drunk. I should stop drinking,” the celebrity of the cyber world reflected, adding: “I broke my hand when I was drunk.”

Paul, who also faced youtuber KSI inside a ring, was drinking in a bar in Germany with a group of friends when he saw the machine in question. He started beating her to try to beat the highest score, “then you know... fourth try, fifth try, until my friends told me, 'We have to go. '”

But, in a clear state of intoxication, the semi-professional boxer assured that before leaving the venue, he turned around quickly, started running to the machine, “I moved the bench I was, I went up and hit that thing as hard as I could and, unfortunately, I ended up hitting a damn column.”

“I immediately knew that I had broken my hand. I didn't know it was that bad. And I didn't set the highest score, which was actually the worst part of all this,” he joked. However, he and his friends preferred not to go to the hospital and chose to stay for a couple more drinks before heading there.

“I came to the hospital and they said, 'Dude, you broke the third metacarpal in your hand. It's the most important joint of the hand and for boxers, this is a career-ending injury. '” He added: “It was really hard to hear, it was very depressing, especially when you're drunk, hearing things like this.”

This injury came just six days after confirming that he was planning to make his debut in mixed martial arts. “I think I'd be good at that too. It's crazy, the difference between a boxing event and a wrestling event. I found out who I would like to fight if I did a UFC match: Paddy The Baddy, he said in an interview with The MMA Hour.

“He's charismatic, entertaining, he's on the rise, he's young like me and he's got a big mouth. I like the way he acts,” he considered the former featherweight champion of the company Cage Warriors and who in March 2021 signed a contract with the UFC.

“(Dana White) asked me who I would like to fight and I didn't have anyone in mind at the time. Now I'm looking at it and I say, okay, if I had to do a UFC fight, it would be with someone who can sell tickets,” he said.
