This April 7, Coldplay will delight its Mexican audience for the last time before its Music of the Spheres tour travels to other countries, however, in one of its concerts at the Foro Sol, the vocalist of the group staged a kiss much applauded by the audience.
At the end of his last song, Chris Martin took out a Mexican flag, wore it to the public and placed it on the floor, seconds later, he knelt before it and kissed it, causing the euphoria of his audience, as it was understood as a thank you to the great support the band had in selling the tickets.
The iconic moment when the singer showed his love for Mexico was captured by many fans, one of them being TikTok user clauvaldez2, who posted the video from her account.
“This is how her Coldplay concert ended in the CDMX”, the young woman wrote in a text above her recording, in the description, the young woman mentioned: Without a doubt the best night. The video also showed the final caravan of the musicians and the reverence before the audience.
On various social networks, people have pointed out that they are delighted with the British band's show, as they have very special attention to the public and even make them part of the show using bracelets that are illuminated with LED lights.
Throughout this tour, the performers of Yellow made several demonstrations of sympathy towards the people who had the opportunity to listen to them live, so the kiss of Chris Martin and the Mexican flag caused a sensation among the attendees.
In some of the comments, fans expressed messages such as “He said there was no better audience than Mexico, I love them”, “He really appreciates Mexico, he didn't leave her lying around, he even knelt down to kiss her” and “They transmit an inexplicable calm to me”.
It should be noted that Mexico is the only country - outside the United States - where Coldplay decided to offer more than four concert dates, it had originally announced only three and due to high demand, other dates opened, as hundreds of fans had run out of tickets.
Finally, the Music of the Spheres tour visited three different Mexican cities, offering a total of eight concerts, the Foro Sol was the venue most visited by Coldplay on this occasion. These were the events in which they performed, it should be noted that on the afternoon of April 7, people are already meeting at the entertainment center to wait for the band.
