
Army and ministerial agents arrested seven alleged members of the Sinaloa Cartel, who were under the command of the lieutenant of the criminal group in Oaxaca, who is known as José Gil Quintero, alias El Chino.
According to the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSyPC), the alleged criminals fell in Pinotepa Nacional last week, on March 29, after coordinated actions by state and federal agents.
These are Silver Idael “N”, Edgardo “N”, Edgar Fortino “N”, Felipe “N”, Bruno “N”, Carlos “N”, and Ivan de Jesús “N”, who were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic guarded by elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena).
Rosa Icela Rodríguez, head of the SSyPC, presented data on the arrest at the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador at the National Palace, as part of the Zero Impunity policy. According to the secretary, Chino Quintero was appointed to drug trafficking operations in Oaxaca and Guerrero's Costa Chica.
