An anonymous complaint alerted the presence of marijuana packages, CBD gamitas and THC droppers inside a parcel company in Guadalajara, which would be destined for different parts of the country and the United States.
The Attorney General's Office (FGR) reported on what happened in a statement, in which it stated that agents of the agency secured on the spot “several packages containing approximately one kilo 220 grams of cannabis sativa (marijuana), three packages containing CBD gummies and droppers containing substance of tetrahydrocannabinol”.

The FGR announced that it delivered the insured goods to the Public Prosecutor's Office present in Guadalajara, which will be part of the investigation folder for those responsible for crimes against health.
In November 2021, the FGR had already announced that it was investigating a parcel company domiciled in the Greater Guadalajara Area for allegedly allowing the shipment of drugs.
Prosecution agents searched the premises of the parcel company, which resulted in the securing of 14 packages labeled for shipment, which contained a total of one kilo 473 kilograms of marijuana, four cartridges for electronic cigarettes containing liquid THC, and two kilograms 800 grams of the drug known as crystal .
In addition, packs containing three sheets and aluminum foil envelopes containing LSD paper, 20 ecstasy pills and a package of cannabis sativa, a magazine, and handgun parts were secured.
The shipment was secured by the FGR and presented to the MP, which was integrated into the investigation folder in which the parcel company was accused of collaborating with the distribution of drugs.
On April 1, police from Guadalajara discovered a package of marijuana hidden in a stuffed animal, which would allegedly be wrapped for shipment to a country in Europe.
According to statements by the personnel of the parcel company in which the marijuana shipment was discovered, the package had been labeled as “household goods”, but drug detection instruments were able to detect a suspicious substance inside it.
The authorities went to the place to open the package, so they found cushions and stuffed animals, which hid vacuum-sealed plant bags covered by stuffing.
The total weight of the marijuana that was intended to be shipped was 2 kilograms and 212 grams; the authorities did not report suspected suspects or the origin of the package, and likewise, the information of the country of destination of the package was reserved.
On the other hand, in December 2021, FGR agents captured two men who received a package of marijuana sent by parcel from Guadalajara, and were linked to prosecution for crimes against health in their modality of possession of drugs for transportation purposes, as well as criminal association.
Edgar “R” and Hugo “C'' 'received about two tons of marijuana that were transported in a metal container, which contained 65 packages wrapped with adhesive tape, which were secured by the authorities.
