A video in which you can see the singers of Puro Sentimiento performing a show in the middle of the road went viral a few days ago. What caught the attention of these images is that the vocalists of the group were encouraged to give this brief presentation with the intention that the protesters who blocked the road would let them pass.

In an interview she had for the program Dilo Fuerte with Lady Guillén, Molly Gereda, a member of the orchestra, confessed that for her and her partner this was a very unpleasant moment, as different men began to harass them when they got off their bus.

There were many handy men. There is a viral video that was made, because we came down to sing so that they would not let them pass and there were many tricky men. We are women and there are always going to be tricky and ill-intentioned people,” she said at first.

She also said that they felt practically obliged to put on a show with the intention of letting them pass, since the group's bus had to return to Lima to continue with their performances.

There was a gate with tires and we went down to ask to be let through, so they told us to sing so they let us pass. We went down, sang and they told us we weren't going to happen the same way. After half an hour they just opened,” he said.

On the other hand, Molly Gereda said quite annoyed that they had to endure the ill-intentioned comments of the protesters so that they finally unblock the road and could continue on their way.

I'm a little embarrassed, but what was ugly is that we came down and they started whistling and saying ugly (obscene) things about us women. This topic was also a chongo one, because we had to do something to get them to let us pass. Thank God they let us pass after half an hour,” he added.

SHE WAS DISTRESSED BY HER INJURED PARTNER

The singer from Puro Sentimiento also said that she was with her teammates to a certain extent, because she had an engagement in Trujillo so she had to arrive in Lima.

Because the road was completely blocked, she went to different groups on an unknown route. However, she did not have the best experience, and that is that she was likewise hit by the protesters and had to hide on the beach.

Likewise, when she learned that her partner Edwin Cotto was injured because Puro Sentimiento's bus had been attacked, she did not hesitate to get in contact all his acquaintances in Ica so that they can help him.

According to the musician's account, they were attacked around six in the morning and could not be treated until two in the afternoon. He also indicated that he was back in Lima with his other companions after they let them pass.
