After congressmen from the United States requested to revoke the visa of at least 25 Mexican politicians, including that of the Labour Party (PT) deputy Gerardo Fernández Noroña, the petista regretted that his legislative task was not taken into account.

And this Tuesday, April 5, Texas Congressman Vicente González shared a letter sent to the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and to the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, which calls for to withdraw the visa to Mexican legislators for showing their support for Russia.

Given this, through his official Twitter account, the controversial deputy and ally of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional party (Morena) regretted that for carrying out his institutional task he is described as “pro-Russian”.

In the message, the legislator said that the media that took the news should do their “journalistic work” and not become “pro-Yaquis”.

“'Pro-Russian', now it turns out that attending to your institutional task of creating friendship groups is a pro-Russian activity. The least you should do is perform your job as a journalist, or are they pro-Yaquis?” , he wrote on his social network

In another message, Fernández Noroña said that it is better to lose the visa than “the exercise of freedom”, recalling that days before Donald Trump will protest as president of the United States, he demonstrated against him in the Trump Tower.
