In recent hours, more details have become known of the scandal involving the Police and the National Government itself in Pereira, Risaralda, after a house was demolished, pointing out that it was an important sale of hallucinogens and a safeguard against crime, however, according to the reports of the family that owns this property, the authorities made a montage that has directly affected his reputation.

This fact already cost the commander of the Pereira Police, Colonel Aníbal Villamizar Serrano, who was in charge of this jurisdiction at the time of the alleged operation. Carlos Sánchez, grandson of Teresa Sánchez, owner of the property, has denounced the authorities' actions to carry out this operation, because he says that one day before the house was demolished, members of the police arrived at the scene to question his father, an elderly man who was looking after the house, uniformed men would have asked for the keys to the site, assuring that the Minister of Defence would come the next day.

Teresa Sánchez's grandson explained to Blu Radio that on Thursday the police asked them to access the place to make a recording. But for that, they would have to leave him the keys. Similarly, the authorities behind the backs of the owners of the place, gave entry to several street dwellers to record them consuming hallucinogens and injecting different substances, and then recording them. The next day this film material would be presented as evidence, indicating that the house was a “pot” of microtrafficking.

Carlos Sánchez pointed out that they were never told what they were going to do on the spot, because the argument was simply that the next day the Minister of Defense, Diego Molano, would arrive in this sector, but at no time was there consent for any third party's access to housing. In this case, the complainant accuses that the police recorded the entire process carried out with high definition cameras, without any specific notice.

The complaint established by Sánchez indicates that a second lieutenant arrived at the place accompanied by several policemen, and at the site they tried to convince her father to hand over the keys, but they did not count her presence, after that, they learned about the recording where several street dwellers appeared, allegedly consuming hallucinogens, the complainant made the claim and the authorities indicated that this fragment had been edited and was not going to appear in the final product, however, it was the main argument by Mayor Carlos Maya and Defense Minister Diego Molano.

As I can establish Blu Radio, who made the complaint assures that Teresa Sánchez still does not know about the demolition of her house, since at 93 years old, the news could affect her delicate state of health. Likewise, it indicates that although the house had a demolition order, it had to do directly with the ruin condition of the house, as it was severely affected by the earthquake that struck the Coffee Region in 1999. Today, the family is concerned, as several criminal gangs in the area think that they were engaged in the sale of hallucinogens and threatened them, in the same way, they say that the police have generated pressure on the residents of the neighborhood for this event.

At the time, Minister Molano indicated that this fact became a historic milestone against microtrafficking in this city, all within the “Plan 100 against microtrafficking”. With the demolition of this house, he assured that there were already 106 stores of illegal substances, which were reduced by the authorities, regarding the subject, he said: “The work that our police do to combat microtrafficking with all forcefulness is essential, because what microtrafficking does is generate fear for citizens on this street, surely after 7 or 6 in the afternoon what they felt in was fear, because they thought that someone would leave the place to attack them”.
