Dina Boluarte asks Pedro Castillo's nephews to show their faces: “He who owes nothing, fears nothing”

The Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte told RPP news this morning while she was supervising the care of children during the “Cuna más” program at the Pachacutec educational institution in the Ventanilla district, where he wondered what the relatives of the President of the Republic are afraid of, Pedro Castillo.

“The president's environment is 'not had', I hope they get right, because they have said: 'He who fears nothing owes' what are they afraid of? present yourself in the face, it is the best way to face problems, showing your face, whoever falls, whether it is Bruno Pacheco, the nephews whoever they are, that research should be done in accordance with the legal framework,” said the also Minister of Development and Social Inclusion.

This is in reference to Gian Marco Castillo and Fray Vasquez Castillo, who are currently not in preliminary detention as they are involved in the investigation being pursued by the Prosecutor's Office Anti-corruption in the Puente Tarata III case.

Regarding the response of the alleged mafia of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which according to Karelim López is led by the president, Boluarte mentioned that the aspiring collaborator effective should give information quickly and not on a drop basis to the Office of the Prosecutor, because but rather general more uncertainty in the population.

“Mrs Karelim will have to prove what is on account to the prosecution, because we are always aware of what is going to say Fourth Power, Panorama, Punto Final, since, apparently, she is sending her a drop account and if she has the necessary evidence, then let her say so. The Peruvian people are waiting and eager to know,” he concluded RPP.

This is because on Monday, businessman Zamir Villaverde was preliminarily detained for 15 days, at his home in La Molina, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office which is investigating the irregular award of the Puente Tarata III work and the meetings nbsp; unofficial of President Pedro Castillo in the house of the Sarratea passage, in Breña. Case in which Karelim López, Bruno Pacheco, are also involved with the nephews of the head of state.

According to a source from ATV Noticias, there is a search and arrest warrant for 11 persons, including former Palacio Secretary Bruno Pacheco, who would not have been placed at his home at the time of the intervention carried out by the Intelligence Division and the Directorate Against Corruption (DIRCOCOR) from 6 a.m.

The preliminary arrest warrant would also reach Fray Vasquez Castillo, the president's nephew, who is facing a motion for presidential vacancy.

According to Caretas magazine, the supra provincial corporate prosecutor for corruption offences of officials in Lima would also search the homes of those investigated: Victor Valdivia Malpartida, George Pasapera Adrianzén, Luis Carlos Elias Pasapera Adrianzén, Hector Antonio Pasapera López, Edgar William Vargas Mas, Victor Rony San Miguel Velasquez, Alcides Villafuerte Vizcarra, Friar Vasquez Castillo, Gian Marco Castillo Gomez and Bruno Pacheco Castillo.

PUENTE TARATA CASE

In January of this year, through a Directorial Resolution, Provias Decentralizado annulled the S/232 million contract it signed in October 2021 with the Puente Tarata consortium III with which a highway would be built that crosses the Huayaga River, in the San Martín region.

The resolution referred to irregularities in the process and was therefore ineffective. Directorial Resolution 08-2022-MTC/21, issued on 14 January, reported that there are two observations that support the decision taken by the body attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communications: the winning company submitted an apocryphal certificate of work and that in the two consortia participating of the competition, one of them represented by Karelim López, had links between its representatives.
