Tatiana Clouthier, head of the Ministry of Economy, was the victim of several accusations and criticisms for allegedly accessing a flight through a “VIP lounge” which, they said, is not in line with the Fourth Transformation (Q4) ideology of republican austerity.

It was the speaker Denise Ramos who, from her Twitter profile, shared the photograph showing the official waiting to be attended by staff of the Aeromexico airline, in an alleged exclusive place.

“How beautiful does Aunt Tatis look in the VIP area of Aeromexico! Shall I greet her?” , the writer also questioned her more than 235,000 followers on this platform.

As soon as she was alerted to this tweet, Clouthier decided to come to her defense and clarify the “VIP room” in which she was captured. Also from this social network, she assured that she could not respond to Ramos because she blocked her for a long time, so she would no longer have the opportunity to invite her for coffee to explain the situation.

He later pointed out that the place where it was captured is only a lounge for passengers who have spent a lot of time traveling with the same airline, so it has made profits for the kilometers traveled for so many years.

“Too bad Denise Ramos blocked me. I would have liked to greet her, have a coffee and remind her that it is NOT a VIP area, but a room to which people who have been traveling continuously for work for years enter because of the compensation of kms provided by the airline,” wrote the Secretary of Economy.

Denise Ramos, in a challenging way, responded to the author of the book Together we made history. He first claimed that he blocked her from Twitter for a long time, although he decided to unblock it so that he could read the explanation about the photograph.

“Hello, I had you blocked for a long time, but can you explain to me, what do you do those who promote an austere lifestyle and judge those who have more than one pair of shoes in places where not everyone can enter? ”, replied the speaker.

So far, Tatiana Clouthier has not responded to this latest tweet, so it is expected that in the next few hours she will do so or decide to put aside this controversy that many other opposition characters resumed to criticize the official and the 4T.

One of them was journalist Joaquín López-Dóriga, who has on several occasions confronted characters from this movement. From her Twitter account she shared Denise Ramos' message and asked her to say hello for her. “On our part,” he wrote forcefully.

Later, Pascal Beltrán del Rio, another communicator who shows his dissatisfaction with the government led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO). On this occasion, he advised all officials not to “expose themselves to criticism” when using dedicated airport lounges, so he urged them to be “congruent” and travel with other passengers.

“I recommend that officials of this government not expose themselves to criticism for using exclusive airport lounges. They decided to be part of a government that exalts austerity. Be congruent and sit and wait where most of the passengers are. Nothing will happen to them,” he said.

Finally, a member of Chumel Torres's team also lashed out at Clouthier and assured that some politicians from Q4 will perform “maromas” to explain why they used Mexico City International Airport (AIM) instead of Felipe Ángeles, AMLO's flagship project.

“The best thing that AIFA will bring will be the number of maromas that public servants will give to justify why they used AICM instead of AIFA,” he said.
