United Nations, 24 Mar (EFE). A total of 140 countries voted today at the UN General Assembly on a resolution demanding that Russia “immediately cease Russian hostilities against Ukraine, and in particular any attack on civilians and civilian targets.” Only five countries voted against it, while 38 abstained. This result shows that the international community's rejection of Russia's invasion of Ukrainian territory is almost similar to that shown on March 2, when the resolution was adopted that “deplored” Russian aggression and called for its immediate cessation.
