Pascacio Lopez, best known for acting in the series Guerra de Vecinos, was linked to the prosecution of the crime of rape against actress Sarah Nichols.
It was since last Wednesday, March 16, that an arrest warrant was released in Jalisco against the artist, who was arrested in Mexico City and transferred to Guadalajara, to carry out its legal process.
This document was issued by a supervisory judge, oral trial and specialized criminal execution with violence against women of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State Judiciary.
The arrest stemmed from the complaint filed by actress Sarah Nichols, with whom she worked on the series Guerra de vecinos, where she allegedly claimed to have been sexually abused in the city of Tapatia.
Given this, on March 22, the plaintiff's lawyers reported in a statement that Pascacio had already been linked to the trial, after having found sufficient evidence to authorize the Public Prosecutor's Office complementary research.

It was also pointed out that Pascacio will be held in informal pre-trial detention for the duration of his trial, since the crime of rape requires such precautionary measure in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Constitution.
“This legal counsel trusts that both the Supreme Court of Justice of the Judiciary of the State of Jalisco, and the Attorney General's Office of Jalisco, will continue to do their duty until justice is achieved for the victim.
Through an Instagram video, Sarah Nichols appeared on March 22 to thank all the people who have expressed their support after denouncing Pascacio López.
“Hello everyone, I just wanted to thank you, my intention was to stay anonymous, that was not the case, but the great gift that came out of all that was the surprise of so many people who have written to me that I thank you with my soul, thank you,” she said in a clip she posted on her Instagram account.

Similarly, in an interview with Ventaneando, the actress delved into how this whole process seems complicated to her, but she has gained strength with all the love she has received.
“Right now I'm feeling... I'm trembling... I'm nervous, everything is shaking inside because it's like reliving everything again but I feel supported, sheltered and very hopeful that justice will be done here in Jalisco,” she said.
He also showed empathy for women victims of abuse who do not report at the moment and expressed that he did not judge them because getting to talk could be very scary. In this regard, Sarah commented that she hoped that her complaint could help other victims raise their voices
“It took me a while to have the courage to speak, I thought that I alone could control him and shut him up and heal alone away from the legal process and honestly now I know that I was not the first one this man has harmed, there have been many people he has harmed and perhaps if many of them or they had denounced, I would not be here today So even though I wasn't the first person this man hurt, I'm not going to tire of seeking justice to make sure I'm going to be the last,” he said.
