Fred Roldán: 10 days after his hospitalization, his family is waiting for a miracle

Actor Fred Roldán has been hospitalized since March 11 as he has a very aggressive cancer in his neck, it should be noted that in 2021, this disease had already been eradicated and began in the language, so the diagnosis was very devastating news for his family, colleagues and the public.

In an interview with the morning program First Hand, Fred Roldán's family revealed that they are eagerly awaiting his recovery, but faced with a fatal scenario, they shared that they are willing to take the reins of the cultural center that the playwright founded, so they have placed their hopes on a miracle.

“We are waiting for a miracle right now, we, both Fred and I, of course my mother are 100% ready to continue her legacy, if God so decides,” explained Mauricio Roldán.

The family's plan is not to forget the theatrical work left by the actor - who has given life to more than 50 characters - and to continue to spread the art through the cultural venue that bears the surnames of the stage director and his partner, Lupita Sandoval.

Clearly the strongest intention of this family is for Fred Roldán to get out of this disease, so his son Mauricio Roldán said the following: “We are waiting for him with open arms for him to recover 100%, but if that does not happen we take the reins of the Roldán Sandoval cultural center”, ended up for the Image Entertainment program.

A few days ago, the actor's partner explained that Fred was going through an extremely delicate and worrying phase: “He's in a very critical stage, if he's serious, he's in intensive care, he's been there all week. It is the second relapse that he has because he has a very aggressive cancer in his neck, it has become very bad.”

The actor and playwright is hospitalized in Médica Sur. It is now known that the costs of her treatment amounted to more than 100,000 pesos, so Lupita Sandoval had to win the penalty to seek financial aid from other actors and the general public.

Although the Mexican comedian and writer had mentioned that they did not need external help for the medical emergency, she explained in Venga la Alegría that the need was very strong and the bills high, so she decided to open a bank account to receive donations.

“In the past few days, they asked me and said that we didn't need money, that the problem was opening your account to be able to use it but not even opening your account, so that's why I dared, I swear I was reluctant, but I think that shame has to be put aside when the need is strong,” said the actress in the morning of TV Azteca.

Lupita Sandoval explained that sometimes, people believe that artists always have the financial means to attend to each other without worries, but that in this case it is not so, because the savings they had as a result of their trajectory were overwhelmed.
