Santiago Ormeño scores a goal with León and CM de Mazatlán responds with a curious phrase

The striker of the Peruvian national team finally broke the long line in his scoring quota and arrives toned ahead of the matches against Uruguay and Paraguay.

Hours before Santiago Ormeño grabs his bags and comes to Lima to join the Peruvian national team, Santiago Ormeño returned to the goal and did so in Leon's 2-1 victory over Mazatlan, as a visitor, for matchday 11 of the 2022 Clausura for the Liga MX.

The Peruvian national team reunited with the goal after a long time of drought. The last time Santiago Ormeño had scored a goal was in September 2021 against Pumas for the League Cup semifinals.

However, this goal has a special flavor for Santiago Ormeño, since it is the first to score with León's shirt in the Liga MX and, in addition, it arrives in a crucial week: the Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022. The Mexican-Peruvian player will arrive motivated to the matches against Uruguay and Paraguay.

Santiago Ormeño has been criticized for his performance with the Peruvian national team, since so far he has not scored any goals with the bicolor and unfortunately the strikers are measured by the average goal scored per game.

However, having scored a goal with León after a long time, will make Ormeño more than motivated to the Peruvian national team and can help achieve important results against Uruguay and Paraguay for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, allowing us to reach the World Cup for the second time in a row.

The Mazatlán CM went crazy with the goal of Ormeño

In León's '14′, Santiago Ormeño took advantage of a ball inside the area to cover it and finish left-handed in the 44th minute and thus make the result more comfortable for the Fiera. This made the community manager of Mazatlan go crazy. What did he say? “44′ I don't like that Peruvian at all. Team he comes with, team he vaccinates us with”, was what he posted on his twitter account.
