Peru vs Uruguay: Red white midfielder Raziel García arrived in Lima, joined training at Videna and analyzed the match with Uruguay for Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

The flier who plays for Deportes Tolima in Colombia was part of the training sessions of the Peruvian national team along with Wilder Cartagena and eleven other players from the local tournament.

Raziel García gave his opinion on the Uruguay team, Peru's next rival in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, the following Thursday, March 24 for the 17th date at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo.

Uruguay is a tough team, it is a very physical team, it is very strong and from home much more. We are going to work and do what we know how to do,” said Raziel García regarding Celeste, which announced its call on Thursday, March 17, led by Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez and Diego Godín.

Raziel Garcia referred to his current professional moment in Colombian football. “I come at a good time after winning a title with Deportes Tolima and very motivated for what is coming. We are nowhere near achieving this feat,” said the flyer, referring also to the possibility of qualifying for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Peruvian national team has intact chances of qualifying for the World Cup and for this it must achieve good results. In that sense, García screened himself at the end of the Playoffs: “I see myself celebrating the qualifying, I hope it is direct, but first we are going to play it, we are going to dream about it and have faith that it will be achieved”.

On the other hand, Raziel García analyzed his presence in the Colombian league: Anyway, the demand that exists in Colombia is greater than that in Liga 1 and most of all it helps me to improve personally. I try to demand more of myself, to keep improving in order to be as good as possible. Transitions are faster, it's more direct football. There are not so many associations and they are very physical teams with a lot of contact.”

“I have been improving a lot with the physical issue and with the ball as well. I am very confident that it is the main thing. I think I'm at my best, I have to make the most of it, stay focused and strive as I've been doing,” concluded Raziel García.
