Deputies and allies of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party rushed against the president of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova Vianello, for allegedly assaulting legislator Cuauhtli Badillo Moreno.

And it is that through Twitter, Morena's representative to the INE, Euripides Flores, shared a video in which Badillo Moreno is seen talking to the presiding councillor; in the audiovisual, you can hear how the Morenist questioned the official the few boxes that will be installed for the consultation on the Revocation of Mandate.

Likewise, the deputy criticized him for the high salaries that the directors of the Electoral Institute have, to which Córdova replied: “I earn less than a fellow federal deputy earns, you said federal deputy.”

However, Euripides Flores asked users to pay attention to how the presiding councillor touches the legislator's shoulder, invading his personal space “aggressively”.

Along with the video, Morena's representative wrote that in the face of the few arguments, the official overdoes invading personal space.

The counselor's action went viral on social networks, where militants and allies of the cherry party criticized the official for his “aggressive” attitude.

Such was the case of the “assaulted” deputy, Cuauhtli Badillo, who assured that Córdova is an intolerant who has to resort to these actions “which can even be described as violent”.

For his part, the deputy of the Labour Party (PT), Gerardo Fernández Noroña, said on his social network: “What Lorenzo Córdova says is false. Federal Deputy earns 74,000 pesos a month. This, without considering the aggression against comrade Cuauhtli Badillo”.

The president of the Chamber of Deputies and Morena militant, Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, warned that care should be taken with the counselor, since he is “out of his mind”.

“He also raises his voice, poor thing, we must gather for the psychologist, who left him traumatized with such aggression”, “After a while he will hit someone. Little is missing”, “This guy loses his sanity more every day” and “Seeing Lorenzo Córdova lose his temper in public gives all the right to those who think he is not a good referee”, were other comments.

It should be recalled that this was not the only online complaint made by Morena's representative to the INE, Euripides Flores, because in November last year, the Morenista accused him of broadcasting false news about the 2022 Federation Expenditure Budget and of trying to hijack freedom of expression.

During a virtual session of the electoral body, Flores assured that the counselor used any medium or platform to disseminate fake news about the budget. In response, Córdova asked the Morenist to abide by what the rules say and return to the point at hand.

Flores ignored and continued reading his text, so the presiding advisor asked a technician to turn off the microphone. At the end of the session, the Morenista wrote on his networks that Córdova was annoyed that his millionaire salary was made public.
