Korina Rivadeneira questions Miss Peru La Pre: “I think it's very strange that there are four winners”

The Venezuelan model pointed out that usually in beauty pageants there is only one winner, so it seems strange to her that in Miss Peru La Pre there are four winners.

The Miss Peru La Pre final continues to be severely questioned for having named four winners. Coincidentally, three of the winners are known to be the daughters of famous figures of Peruvian society.

Kyara Villanella, daughter of Keiko Fujimori, Alondra Huárac, daughter of Nilver Huárac, and Gaela Barraza, daughter of Tomate Barraza, were selected to represent Peru in the coming weeks in different international beauty contests.

Because the result was not what many fans of Miss Peru La Pre expected, they soon pointed out that there was favoritism. Also, some former contestants came out to say that the daughters of the celebrities had special treatment from the organization.

Due to all the controversy that has arisen, Korina Rivadeneira was encouraged to comment on this issue, since she in Venezuela has participated in this type of beauty pageants, noting that there were several things that seemed strange to her.

She began by saying that in her native country there are no beauty pageants that crown four women, because there can only be one winner, one second place and one third place, so she sparked suspicion on the set of America Hoy.

In the contests I participated in in Venezuela there were actually more famous girls than me... they won too, but it wasn't that they didn't deserve it because they were very beautiful,” said Mario Hart's wife.

However, this was not the only comment he made, noting that it was very important to think that just the winners of Miss Peru La Pre were young people who are quite well known in the local media.

In this case it seems very strange to me that there are four winners and coincidentally, known. In Venezuela there have never been four winners, there is always a winner, a second place and a third place,” said the Venezuelan model.

IT WOULD ALL BE THE ORGANIZATION'S FAULT

Brunella Horna also commented on the Miss Peru La Pre scandal, noting that people should not criticize the daughters of celebrities, because they are not to blame that the organization led by Jessica Newton chose them winners.

It's not the fault of the four girls, Kyara, Alondra, Gaela... it's not their fault, it's the organization's fault,” said the television host to try to stop the harsh qualifications that minors have received for having fulfilled one of their dreams.
