
Through a strong security operation, Juan E., El Dani, alleged operator and leader of the Sinaloa Cartel in Tulum, Quintana Roo, was arrested. State and federal forces captured in the company of six of his accomplices, who were also in possession of narcotics and weapons.
Elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), in coordination with the Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo (FGE), carried out two operations on the morning of Tuesday, March 15, in the city of Tulum, through which the members of a related criminal cell were arrested to the criminal organization originally from Sinaloa.
Both operations were carried out simultaneously, resulting in the arrest of Jarlinson G, Jeimmy C, Regina Y, as well as Brandon N and Maria J. Luis S, and Juan E., E l Dani; who were placed at the disposal of the local prosecutor's office, which will conduct the necessary investigations for their case and communicate their legal situation in the coming days.
The detainees in the first operation were caught in possession of 25 transparent plastic bags containing green and dry grass, with the characteristics of marijuana; 44 blue plastic bags with fine white powder, presumably cocaine; 36 blue plastic bags with colored stones white; and a Pegueot 301 model 2022 vehicle.
In addition, in the second operation led by the local prosecutor's office, 115 blue plastic bags containing a white powder, presumably cocaine, were secured; 48 plastic sachets with white ones; 54 plastic bags with blue crystals; 41 plastic bags that in their inside contains a pink powder; 30 containers of a green and dry herb, with the characteristics of marijuana; 8 pills of an unidentified narcotic, and 2 handguns.
Local media identified El Dani as the envoy of the Sinaloa Cartel in the tourist destination, where he was responsible for the distribution and trade of drugs through a criminal cell made up of local accomplices
