Update on the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission

The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) is pleased to announce that the new Independent Disciplinary and Ethics Commission is currently preparing its rules and is in the process of establishing a dedicated platform for the filing of complaints as well as an independent investigatory chamber. The Disciplinary and Ethics Commission is expected to become operational at the end of December 2020.

Until the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission is officially established, complaints should be directed to the IWF Secretariat and to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in appeal. The IWF is committed to guaranteeing due process and unrestricted access to justice in favor of all it’s members.
