OLYMPIC WORLD SKATEBOARDING RANKINGS UPDATE

Guardar

Dear friends,

Following policy changes announced in August for the inclusion of points to the Olympic World Skateboarding Ranking (OWSR), the ranking platform at www.worldskate.org has been updated.

The maximum number of National Championships to be included for homologation in the OWSR is 2, with a maximum of 1 National Championship per calendar year. Each athlete will be listed in the OWSR with 1 score from their best National Championship performance over the entire qualification system (season 1 and season 2). Event points for National Championships will be added to the OWSR after the 31st of May 2021, or two weeks before the World Championships 2021, as part of season 2. Further information about the homologation of National Championship results can be found here.

With reference to Continental Championships, results will be reflected in the OWSR only after all continents have had their point opportunity. If any of the 5 continents didn’t have a point opportunity, Continental Championship points will not be added to the OWSR

National Championship placings are currently still visible via athlete profile pages, however, in order to increase the quantity of information publicly available, we are working on further enhancements to the OWSR web application. More information will be released upon the application’s update.

Please find the official bulletin here.
