IFBB announces 2015 Bodybuilding Championships in El Salvador, Central America

The IFBB is proud to announce the milestone celebration of the World Juniors and Masters Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships to be held in El Salvador, CA, December 10-14, 2015.

"The IFBB is proud to announce the milestone celebration of the World Juniors and Masters Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships to be held in El Salvador, CA, December 10-14, 2015.

This event is being sponsored by the Federation Salvadoreña de Fisicoculturismo, its President Lic. Fabrizio Hernandez and under the auspices and with the support of the local national government by Lic. Oscar Ortiz, Vice President of El Salvador , and the national Olympic committee

The popularity of fitness and bodybuilding in this part of the world is emphasized by the growing number of participants and events in Central America and the Caribbean. IFBB is recognized by over 22 national Olympic committees in the Americas, and has been a medal sport in the Central American Games since 1994.

The whole American continent has been supportive of the grass roots efforts of the IFBB that have resulted in the recognition by the Pan American Sports Organization and a majority of its member NOCs."
