Sberbank launches a unique Visa card with a 3D Sochi 2014 mascot image

Moscow, 13 April 2011 – Sberbank of Russia, Sochi 2014National Partner , and Visa, a Worldwide Olympics Sponsor, have teamed up to launch a unique Visa credit card.

The new Sberbank Visa uses an innovative technology to create an animated 3D image. This unique technology has become available on the Russian market for the first time.

The card features the image of a Polar Bear, selected as a mascot for the first Russian Winter Olympics by public vote.

Sberbank Visa is expected to become one the best bank card products in Russia, with a flexible credit limit between RUB 20,000 and 500,000, established individually for each client, a grace period of up to 50 calendar days and an attractive interest rate. Cardholders will be able to manage their accounts and make loan repayments using Sberbank’s remote services, including Mobile Banking and Sberbank Online. They will also enjoy a 24/7 banking service from the Sberbank Call Center.
