(ATR) The chairman of NBC Olympics, Dick Ebersol, has been injured in a plane crash in Colorado. Ebersol emerged from the fiery crash along with his older son, Charles.
But Ebersolâ??s 14-year old son was missing, his seat ripped from the plane, say reports from southwest Colorado.
The plane was taking off in a light snowstorm, headed east to return Charles to Notre Dame University and Ebersol and Teddy back home to Connecticut, after a holiday weekend.
The pilot and copilot of the 18-seat charter jet died in the crash.
Officials from NBC were not available for comment on Dick Ebersolâ??s condition. An Associated Press report says an eyewitness to the crash saw Ebersol placed on a stretcher before being taken away by ambulance.
