Singapore, 12 August 2010 - With the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (Singapore 2010) only two days away, the organising committee announced that another 33 companies have signed on as official marketing partners, bringing the grand total to 76 to date.
"The tremendous sponsorship support for Singapore 2010 reflects the unique value proposition offered by the inaugural Youth Olympic Games," said Goh Kee Nguan, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee. "Not only does Singapore 2010 dovetail nicely with corporate social responsibility programmes, the Games also put our partners into a premium sports market. The 3,600 Young Olympians at the Games represent the next generation of informed, well-educated consumers. They are young experts in their sport and in their sports products."
Among the companies providing budget-relieving products and services for Singapore 2010 are well-recognised consumer brands such as include Changi Airport Group, Neptune Orient Line, Comfort Delgro, SMRT Media, to name a few in recognition of the business-to-business marketing opportunities inherent in the Games.
Products and services provided include airport services, commercial real estate, industrial containers, advertising space, events management services, insurance, massage equipment, laundry services, marketing communication services, smart card provider, sport equipment, temporary power, transport logistics and volunteer training services.
