- Enhancing sporty image and offering useful information regarding
the Gwangju Universiade -
With only around 400 days to go until the opening of the 2015 Gwangju Summer
Universiade, the Organizing Committee has designed a new look for its official website
(www.gwangju2015.com) and began its launch on the 27th.
The revised website is portraying a more sporty and active image compared to the
previous one, as the Gwangju Universiade is an international sporting event.
Also, a location map has been implemented, showing the location of the venue for each
sport and the distance between each venue, so the users can see at a glance all of the
sports and venues being used for the Gwangju Universiade.
Pictures of national and international athletes are being displayed on the main slides to
catch the interest of the visitors of the new website. Furthermore, in order to enable
active communication and participation in the Universiade through various Social
media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, and online blogs, links to all of the above
have been placed at the bottom of the main page.
In addition, the newly produced online publication "monthly newsletter" for the Gwangju
Univerisade can also be found on the revised website.
Through the revision of the official website, a NUSF Service section, including Q&A and
Frequently Asked Questions, will be newly available for the convenient and efficient
communication of all participants.
Meanwhile, the official website will undergo a complete makeover in December in order
to meet all the requirements necessary for Games time and will have a second opening
in April, 2015, with its final launch occurring before the start of competitions in July,
2015.
